Wet feet…

As the weather today was ok I figured I take a walk in the nearby forest. BIG mistake…. just because it’s April doesn’t mean spring has arrived yet. It wasn’t so bad when I stayed on the path, but the best photos aren’t right by the path, so of course I veered off safe ground…. and found myself having snow to my knees!! Being me, I didn’t give up so easily, but I had to admit defeat when my shoes held enough melted snow to create a small lake. The most annoying part of this is, that for all the struggle, I didn’t get a single usable photo.
